The Church mourns the loss of the father of fathers & the shepherd of shepherds, Pope Shenouda III, the 117th Pope and Patriarch of the Great City of Alexandria and the See of St. Mark.
The Church also celebrates with the Valiant Church in Paradise at receiving the faithful spirit of His Holiness Pope Shenouda III, the 116th successor to St. Mark the Evangelist and the "St. Paul" of our time!!

Church Services
The Divine Liturgy is celebrated by Fr. Antonious Tanious (frantonioust@gmail.com) and by Fr. John Rizkalla (frjohnrizkalla@gmail.com) every Saturday morning with Matins starting at 8:30am. The Liturgies are at the New Church at 114 E. 35th between Park and Lexington Aves.
Take the 6 subway train to 33rd Street and Park Ave and walk north 2 blocks to 35th st. and west to Lexington Ave Or take the M16 or M34 crosstown bus from the west side. The 1/9/A/C/E is available at Penn Station and N/R/Q/W by Macy's on 34th and 6th Ave.
Free street parking is available on E. 35th St. and Saturday $12 parking (12 hours) is available at a parking garage near the church on E. 35th b/w Park and Lexington Aves, closer to Lexington Ave.
Upon entering, please pick up the readings, book and head dress for the ladies, all are available on one table inside the church near the entrance.
A donation box is also located on that same table since there are no offering bags passed around during the Divine Liturgy.
After Liturgy, please join us upstairs for an Agape meal. Sunday School and hymns classes also immediately follow the Divine Liturgy.
St. Marks also offers a fellowship meeting every Monday (7:30-9:30pm) and Midnight Praises every Friday night (8-10pm) at the Greek Cathedral on E. 74th st. b/w 1st and 2nd Ave.
Fr. Antonious Makaryus, Fr. Antonious Tanious, Fr. Antonious Salib, Fr. John Rizkalla, and Dr. Samir Botros offer Biblical and spiritual studies.
